Custom Home Remodel and Exterior Renovation in Parkview
With this project in Edmonton’s Parkview neighbourhood, we renovated several interior spaces, along with the home’s garden suite, exterior, and backyard.
Inspired by mid-century modern and industrial design, we used a variety of rich wood elements, poured concrete, and naturally patina’ed metal sheeting to create eye-catching design features inside and out.
Inside, warm-toned custom built-ins in the bedroom and bathrooms pop against the home’s bright white interior. Outside, a deliberate mix of angled and straight lines contribute to the modern look.
Design elements are intentionally repeated and flow seamlessly between each space. For example, the angled wooden beams at the front of the home are mirrored on the detached garage where they serve as decorative brackets under the roofline.
The backyard’s BBQ and firepit areas oVer the perfect places to unwind with built-in seating and an eat-in bar that double as design features in their own right.
